ABOUT
Raised in the Texas suburbs, I grew up a somewhat conventional man working in the tech industry for over twenty-five years. Eventually, I moved to Los Angeles for work and ended up spending most of my spare time teaching myself the craft of photography.
On weekends, I would scour Hollywood Boulevard or Venice Beach in search of the marvelous amongst the street life. I found something interesting and challenging about composing people on the fly in the frame of my camera. Lovingly collecting them in a series of cinematic and lively street photographs.
After five years, I moved back to the Austin area and began to ponder another path. I enrolled in the Austin Community College photography department where I honed my photography skills and rediscovered my affinity for creating digital collages. Prone to lucid visions at night, I immediately gravitated toward creating dreamy Surrealist collages that offer a direct link to my subconscious.
Since graduating with a photography certificate, I spend most of my time pursuing personal projects and dreaming up my next idea.
